RCHS Athletics:

This week's sports schedule:

  • Tuesday - Wrestling away at Social Circle
  • Friday - Basketball home vs. Salem
  • Saturday - Girls Basketball away at Dawson County, Boys Basketball away at Discovery, Swimming home at Johnson Park, Wrestling away at Westminster

Masks are required for all indoor athletic events

All athletic events have cashless ticketing using the GoFan app.  All Sports Season Passes can also be purchased on GoFan as well, $50 for all home games, all sports, all year.

Color Guard:

  • Training for our RCHS Color Guard starts on Tuesday, November 9 from 3:30-5:30p in the Band Room. If you are interested in learning how to spin a flag and earning a position on our Championship Color Guard, we welcome you to attend. Please see Mr. Jones in the Band Room for questions. 


  • Rockdale’s FBLA and FCCLA Chapters are hosting a Canned Food Drive October 18th – November 18th to support Rockdale Emergency Relief Fund. Please drop off unexpired canned food items including soups, vegetables, and canned meat to Room 604 (Youngblood) and 608 (Moore).


On Wednesday, November 10th at 6pm, there will be a Virtual FAFSA Night to help parents and students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. A representative from the Georgia Student Finance Commission will be available to answer any questions and walk through the FAFSA applications with you. All seniors considering education after high school (including technical, trade school, college, and university) should complete the FAFSA.

Email Ms. Harris, the college adviser, to set up an individual appointment for FAFSA help after school hours. 

November 15th-November 19th is Apply to College Week at Rockdale County High School:

On Wednesday, November 17th at 6pm, there will be a virtual Applying to College Workshop for parents to attend.

On Thursday, November 18th at 6pm, there will be a virtual Paying for College Workshop for parents to attend.
